Special Migration Safari in the Ndutu Plain

Period: from December to March
This 7-day safari will introduce you to the wildebeest migration in the Ndutu plain. You will be able to admire a spectacular gathering of animals and perhaps you will be lucky enough to witness a calving during this calving period. Migration depends each year on the rainy season but, generally, it can be observed in the Ndutu plain between December and March. In the heart of this area, you will dive into the famous Ngorongoro crater listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site. You will also benefit from the immensity of the Serengeti and Tarangire National Park.

Day 1
Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport
You will be picked up by us upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Transfer to Arusha to reach your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Arusha / Tarangire National Park / Karatu
After breakfast, you will take the road to the Tarangire National Park. This park has a great diversity of landscapes. Its majestic baobabs are magnificent. Its river which crosses it and which gave it its name, attracts many animals coming to drink. This will allow you to come across many predators looking for prey, including lions.
You will certainly come across the many elephant families that inhabit the park and for which it is famous.
You will have a picnic lunch in the park and continue your safari before reaching your lodge in the late afternoon where you will have dinner and overnight.
Day 3
Karatu / Ndutu
Après le petit déjeuner, vous prendrez la route en direction des magnifiques plaines de Ndutu. Vous pourrez admirer les grands rassemblements de gnous qui, à cette période, viennent pâturer et mettre bas dans les plaines verdoyantes de Ndutu. Vous aurez peut-être la chance de voir les prédateurs attirés par cette concentration d’herbivores.
Vous partirez à la recherche des lions, guépards et hyènes qui sont présents dans cette zone à l’occasion de la migration.
Vous prendrez votre déjeuner (repas chaud) au cœur de la savane.
Votre safari se poursuivra dans l’après-midi avant de retourner à votre camp pour le dîner et la nuit.
Day 4
Ndutu
Grande journée de safari dans les merveilleuses plaines de Ndutu.
Ndutu est un véritable trésor et vous permet de vivre une expérience unique en Tanzanie. C’est une chance supplémentaire d’explorer plus en profondeur cette région remplie d’animaux à cette période de l’année et d’assister à des scènes de vie incroyables en plein cœur de la nature sauvage.
Dans cet environnement propice à la chasse du guépard, vous pourrez peut-être assister à des scènes inoubliables et exceptionnelles.
Déjeuner en plein cœur de la savane (repas chaud).
Vous continuerez votre safari au cours de l’après-midi avant de regagner votre camp pour le dîner et la nuit.
Day 5
Ndutu / Serengeti
Après le petit-déjeuner, vous prendrez la route en direction du plus célèbre et plus grand parc de Tanzanie : the Serengeti.
Le Serengeti vous laissera un souvenir inoubliable avec ses étendues à l’infini de savane, ses plaines, ses zones vallonnées et ses affleurements rocheux appelés KOPJES. Ce parc de 14 763 km² abrite plus de 2 millions de grands animaux, dont plus d’un million de gnous, des centaines de milliers de zèbres des plaines et différentes variétés de gazelles. De grands prédateurs, dont des lions, des guépards, des léopards, des hyènes sont attirés dans la région par cette abondance de proies qui migrent dans tout le parc. De nombreux petits animaux comme les mangoustes, les chacals, les singes habitent également la région avec près de 500 espèces d’oiseaux.
You will have lunch in the park and continue your safari before joining your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight in the heart of the savannah.
Day 6
Serengeti / Cratère du Ngorongoro
After breakfast, you will set off for an exciting game drive heading to the edge of the famous Ngorongoro crater. By diving into the heart of this caldera, you will discover a breathtaking view. You will meet many animals. There are around 100 animals per km² in the crater.
You will have a picnic lunch in the company of the hippos and can admire zebras and birds very close to you.
At the end of your safari, you will reach Karatu and your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7
Karatu / Mto Wa Mbu / Aéroport de Kilimanjaro ou Arusha
Après le petit-déjeuner, vous prendrez la route et ferez une halte à Mto Wa Mbu pour la visite de ce village typique où vous pourrez admirer son marché coloré et animé avec peut-être vos derniers achats au Maasaï Market. Vous prendrez le déjeuner à Mto Wa Mbu ou en cours de route en fonction de l’horaire de vol retour ou pour vous rendre à Zanzibar.
Extension possible à Zanzibar
Après votre safari, profitez de quelques jours sur la magnifique île de Zanzibar.
Accommodation "High-end"
For people traveling with children, we personalize the quote according to their age. Children over 12 years old are considered, for the lodges, as adults on the date of the start of the stay. For the park price, the adult price starts at the age of 16. A child price is applied from 5 years to 15 years.
The price of the safari is paid in USD and the amount does not change. The amount in euros is given as an indication. It was calculated on a euro / dollar rate of 1.16, namely 1 € = 1.16 USD. The amount in euros may therefore vary. If you want to know the exact amount in euros, you can consult the site Xe Currency which gives the course live.
Payment is by wire transfer in US dollars. The conversion costs are the responsibility of the payer.

VISA and Passport
All visitors to Tanzania need a VISA. These formalities take place on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Visa fees are $ 50 USD per person.
Visitors to Tanzania must have a passport valid for six months after the original date of travel.
