This safari is the must-see tour of Northern Tanzania. After meeting the Tarangire elephants, you will be amazed by the endless expanses of the Serengeti, Tanzania's most famous park, classified for the second year "MOST BEAUTIFUL PARK IN AFRICA". You will end up with the famous Ngorongoro crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where there are around 100 animals per km2.

Day 1

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

You will be picked up by us upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport.

Transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 2

Arusha / Tarangire / Karatu

After breakfast, you will take the road towards Tarangire National Park. This park has a great diversity of landscape with its river which gave it its name and which attracts a large quantity of herbivores coming to drink. You will be able to come across many predators in search of prey (especially lions ...). You will surely meet the many elephant families that inhabit the Tarangire.

During your picnic lunch in the park, you will admire this magnificent landscape. At the end of the afternoon, you will take the road towards the town of Karatu where you will join your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Karatu / Serengeti National Park

Today, after breakfast, you set off for the famous Serengeti National Park. The vast Serengeti stretched out in front of you, as far as the eye can see, will leave you with unforgettable memories. Serengeti means “endless plains” in Maasai. This 14,763 km 2 park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals, including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras and different varieties of gazelles. Large predators, including lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas, are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey that migrates throughout the park. Many small animals such as mongooses, jackals, monkeys also inhabit the region with nearly 500 species of birds.

After a picnic lunch in the park, you will continue your safari and join your charming camp in the heart of the savannah for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, your day will be entirely devoted to discovering the Serengeti National Park. You will still be amazed by its plains as far as the eye can see and by all the animals you may encounter.

You will have your picnic lunch during your safari or, if you wish, you can return to your camp to relax before resuming the adventure.

You will then return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Serengeti National Park / Ngorongoro Crater / Karatu

After breakfast, you will hit the road with a last morning game drive in the Serengeti to exit and reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will enjoy the scenery before diving into the famous Ngorongoro crater where you will discover another breathtaking landscape. You will meet many animals. In fact, there are around 100 animals per km2 in the crater.

You will have a picnic lunch in the company of the hippos and can admire zebras, gazelles and birds very close to you.

At the end of your safari, you will reach Karatu and your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Karatu / Mto Wa Mbu / Arusha / Kilimanjaro International Airport

After breakfast, you will reach the city of Arusha, stopping at Mto Wa Mbu for a visit to this typical village where you can admire its colorful and lively markets with perhaps your last purchases at the Maasai Market.

You will have lunch en route before your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.

For people traveling with children, we personalize the quote according to their age. Children over 12 years old are considered, for the lodges, as adults on the date of the start of the stay. For the park price, the adult price starts at the age of 16. A child price is applied from 5 years to 15 years.

The price of the safari is paid in USD and the amount does not change. The amount in euros is given as an indication. It was calculated on a euro / dollar rate of 1.16, namely 1 € = 1.16 USD. Payment is by wire transfer in US dollars. The conversion costs are the responsibility of the payer.

VISA and Passport

All visitors to Tanzania need a VISA. These formalities take place on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Visa fees are $ 50 USD per person.

 

Visitors to Tanzania must have a passport valid for six months after the original date of travel.
